The Patio Garden
Seattle, Washington

Before:
After:

An old wooden deck was rotting and needed to be removed. The pathway through the vegetable garden was too close to the house. The existing arbor was too small and a new fence was needed. So began the process of renovating this garden.

Pavers were installed to replace the old concrete and wooden deck areas. By using the same surface on both the patio and the pathways through the vegetable garden, the look is more uniform. The new arrangement of raised beds in the vegetable garden allows an easier reach for the client. A new wooden fence and larger arbor adds privacy from the neighbor and creates a lovely viewing spot. The arbor makes a wonderful transition into the vegetable garden. Some new lawn, planting areas and rocks were added to complete the garden scheme.
