Master Plan
A master plan is suggested for an entire property,
front garden or back garden. The plan can be handed off to
a landscape contractor for installation.
The master plan works well for residential property
when you want to redefine outdoor living spaces, add some
hardscaping feature like a patio, deck, fencing, etc or feel
the need for a complete change. The design process is completed
over a time period lasting at least one month or longer. It
will require at least 3 meetings with the designer as well
as your thoughts and wishes defined. The designer then takes
site measurements and drafts a base sheet. Several conceptual
ideas are designed from this and presented to you. Once reviewed
and examined, a planting plan is drafted. The plant selection
is dictated by the site requirement and the wishes of the
client. Along with the several copies of the drawn document
you will receive a portfolio with pictures of the site, a
planting plan key and other helpful information.
The amount of time that goes into working on
a master plan can range from 8 to 20 + hours depending on the
complexity of the site and space. A "guestimate"
of the time commitment will be given at the first meeting.
At each meeting you will be updated as to the number of hours
that have been put into the project.
Cost for this service is $60 per hour. A plan
could range from $480 to $1,200 + depending on the
number of hours to complete the task. A travel fee of $15
per hour will be added for site visits.
Planting Plan
A planting plan works well for rejuvenating
an existing front, back or portion of a garden space. It involves
defining where lawn and planting spaces will be, then adding
the appropriate plant material to suit your needs. The
plant list may be a separate document or may be included on
the planting plan itself. You will receive one copy of the
planting plan and plant list along with a packet full of useful
gardening information.

A plan could range from $180 to $420
+ depending on the number of hours to complete the task. A
travel fee of $15 per hour will be added for site visits.
